BS1101 Basics of TCM

Learning Objective: This course aims to give students a firm grounding in understanding the human physiological and pathological pathways, as well as the different basic principles used in disease prevention in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Content: The lectures will cover the theories of Yin-Yang, Five Elements, Zang-Fu and Collateral Meridians, together with the physiological/pathological/preventive properties of Qi, Blood, Body Fluid and other related factors.

Learning Outcome: Students will learn understanding the human physiological and pathological pathways, as well as the different basic principles used in disease prevention in Traditional Chinese Medicine
