For GCE 'A' level certificate holders: - General entry requirements of NTU
- At least H1 level pass in Mathematics AND H2 level pass in Chemistry
OR
- H2 level pass in Physics/BiologyΩ
Ω H2 Level pass in Physics/Biology is only applicable to applicants who have not read H2 Level Mathematics. Note:
Students with “A” grades in H2 or H3 subjects , may be considered for course exemptions.
For Polytechnic graduates: - General entry requirements of NTU
- Graduates holding any of the diplomas listed are eligible for application. Graduates with a Certificate of Merit (or equivalent honour) in other diplomas are also eligible to apply.
Note:
- All other outstanding applicants with a diploma marked with * above may be considered for Direct entry into 2nd year (finish in 3 years)
- Students admitted into the 1st year may be granted exemption from up to 3 courses, on a case-by-case basis, depending on academic merit and relevance of courses already taken.
- Diploma with Merit holders without the above diplomas may be admitted into the 1st year of the programme and exemption of courses granted on a case-by-case basis.
Non-academic Achievements (NAA) / Discretionary Criteria Scheme (DC) Scheme
Besides academic performance, applicants with exceptional talents and/or outstanding achievements beyond schools’ co-curricular activities can be considered for admission to NTU under the ‘Non-academic Achievements (NAA)/Discretionary Criteria (DC)’ scheme.
