A Research Fellow position in School of Biological Science & School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
We interested in molecular mechanisms in phosphorylation regulated actin cytoskeleton assembly in budding yeast, such as at different cell cycle stages, stress response, invasive cell growth, etc.
We use integrated approaches for our research, including a material based in vitro reconstitution to assembly actin filaments in cell-free extract, fluorescent imaging based microscopy, actin biochemistry with protein purifications, protein biochemical assays, and yeast genetics, etc.
We are seeking highly-motivated and bright individuals who are experienced in yeast genetics, molecular and cell biology, biochemical laboratory techniques, with good teamwork spirits.
Candidates must have:
1. PhD degree relevant to Molecular and Cell Biology or Biochemistry.
2. Minimum one year of relevant experience
To apply, please email the following items to Dr Miao Yansong (email@example.com):
1. a cover letter
2. a CV, including the names, phone numbers and email addresses of three referees
3. up to three peer-reviewed publications
